Confident predator hunting in Arizona since 2015

About Malpai Made
Inception
A hobby turned obsession led to the formation of Malpai Made. I set out to become a proficient predator hunter through trial, error, and hours upon hours of research. After countless requests to bring people along, I decided to get my guide license and share the experience with a broader group of hunters. Through my experiences I’ve partnered with a number of companies that are gracious enough to entrust me with representing their brands, such as: Savage Arms, Foxpro, Marsupial Gear, Mauka Outdoor Gear, and Rok-Stedi Hunting Gear. Malpai Made is fully insured with guide and outfitter insurance.
Rates and Expectations
$450 per hunter per day. $200 per observer per day. A valid Arizona hunting license is required for all hunters. Hunts will begin at legal shooting light and continue through the day until legal shooting light ends or the hunters decide to call it a day. You should expect to make 15-25 stands in a full day. Walking on soft and uneven ground will be required and you should expect to spend the entirety of the day in direct sunlight. You can expect to walk a fair amount during the day, being physically fit is essential. Ample water will be provided for all hunters and observers. Full length sleeves, pants, hat, and sunglasses are suggested. Animals are unpredictable and there is no guarantee of success. Some days are lights out and some days are just plain tough. I will do my best to present you with as many opportunities to take predators as possible. Multi-day discounts available.
Gear
A common question I get is “What should I bring along?”. Aside from your valid hunting license and sun protective clothing, please bring your rifle (sighting in before your hunt is HIGHLY recommended) and ample ammunition for your hunt. A successful hunter will come prepared with a bipod, tripod, or at the very least, a set of shooting sticks from which to shoot. Most of your shots will be in the seated position, so a good rest is essential. Potential shot distances can range from 5-300 yards. Some hunters also bring a shotgun. If you feel comfortable packing two guns in on a stand and want to bring both a rifle and a shotgun, please feel free to do so.
If you do not have the necessary equipment we can provide rental gear for your party’s hunt.
An ice chest with ice and water will be provided. Please come prepared with any snacks, food, or additional drinks you will need throughout the entire day. Alcohol is not permitted during the hunt. We may have an opportunity to stop for snacks or lunch but this equates to less time in the field during your hunt and some hunts will be well away from town.
